1)Opcom V1.60 is known to be buggy for Vectra-C so better to use v1.59 anyway
2) Op-com V1.59, Vectra C tested and its working like a charm
3) opcom v5 (1.59) hardware is the best cable. China clone V5 the one with real PIC18F458 works with 08/2010 china.
4) 150-200 Euros for an EU clone which is a disgrace (they neither made the original software, nor hardware, nor license hack, they just pick up the profit by selling for ridiculous amount somebody else’s work). I would rather to spend €16.99 Free shipping worth v5 from China. It works.

1) I did a quick test on Astra J 2013 year and it worked well. Connection to all modules. In some of them there are only error reading but anyway it is a big progress since the 2010 version and a light at the and of a tunnel for future updates.

How to install Opcom Vaux-com software:
Use only software from CD
Installation
– Some antivirus can generate false alerts – disable antivirus during install, put op-com folder in excluding list
– Install one or more versions from CD

– plug opcom interface into computer

– install drivers

– start software

Always plug op-com interface into computer before using the software

Software will not start if the interface is not plugged.

Note: If you have problem to run on x64 try Win XP x86. For me its running on win 10 x64

I have a problem tor run on win 10 x64 in the past, at that time I was using my own mod (OP-COM_131223c Bulgarian and then copy only LangData from150406b). It happens to be a driver issue.
Then I had a problem with Comodo internet security. Not possible to run Op-com if have it installed, regardless of the settings. Even all security disabled.

Third option is that all those new clones are just not good regardless of chip branding. My tool is dated 2007-12-10. It come with something like fw 1.34 and was updated many times. Mostly by the op-com soft, if I remember last update i did through OPComFUT29b. (Google for it.) I did not have this share at that time.
Now I use the above share original posted by Fantomel and it works flawless.

And dont set as Administrator… no need, some soft got issue with win admin mod.

As some of you request where to buy, I found this PCB match mine from feedback pics and mine PCB. Also has reasonable fw ver. Can NOT guarantee that it will works with fw1.64 and above soft.

Opcom v6: (opcom 1.45)

People advertise opcom as v1.65 or v1.70 or v1.95 ( I really don’t know if this is real because the opcom v16xxxx was in Polish not English ) for the one who don’t even know what they buy.

Opcom is a tool that use opcom software. Thr last opcom version is 150406 EN and 150506 DE.
Both is ask to upgrade the firmware in tge opcom tool to fw 1.64

So for opcom clones:
– if you are using opcom china clone 08-2010 which is actually opcom 100219a then the tool must have fw1.39 ( no newer )
-if you are using vauxcom 120309a ( w/ or w/o new data base ) you need to use opcom fw v1.45 ( no newer )
